KS3 Winter Trust Games

6 Nov 2020

At the beginning of November Park Vale Academy hosted the annual KS3 Winter Trust Games. Nine schools attended bringing with them over 200 students, for an afternoon of 5 a side football, netball and badminton. The games were created with the intention of raising participation, and teams competed in round robin leagues for each sport, showing incredible enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout and really encapsulating the spirit of the event.

The games would not have been such a success had it not been for a dedicated group of PVA Y10 sports leaders who helped umpire, referee and score each of the activities. We’d like to congratulate all involved for their efforts and we look forward to the next one!

Tuesday 15th October 2019 – Early Close 2.05 pm

6 Nov 2020

Review weeks are in addition to Parents’ Evening. As a result, the whole school will have an early closing time of 2.05pm on Tuesday 15th October 2019 to allow the review meetings for Year 11 to take place.

These review meeting are an important opportunity for you to discuss your son or daughter’s progress in school, attendance, cause for concerns, reflecting on the last academic year’s target, setting targets for the future and a parental feedback questionnaire.

Your son/daughter’s tutor will organise a mutually convenient time in that week in which to speak with you.Â
