30 Nov 2025
The Opening Doors to Opportunities programme is designed to give students the insight, skills and confidence to thrive in the world of work. PVA Year 9 students visited their office to give them a chance to connect with professionals, gain skills, and receive feedback on Thursday 27th November 2025.
These career focused workshops, held at KPMG offices, were delivered by an experienced Talent Foundry facilitator and supported by KPMG colleagues. Students develop essential skills during the workshop while experiencing what it’s like to work at KPMG. The workshops:

Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) ‘Back to Schools Tour’ 25th November 2025
27 Nov 2025
The YR10 trip to PwC in Birmingham was very inspiring and students had a great time engaging in various both business and career/employability activities. Students also gave group presentations on their AI idea for a product to help students and teachers. Our students also had the opportunity to tour the beautiful offices and get a feel for the working environment and culture of PwC.
PwC staff shared details of their working lives and provided an insight into the career routes within PwC that are available for school leavers. PwC is one of the “leading professional services firms” and they provide business and tech services to other organisations in a variety of industries.
They have over 22,000 employees in the UK and almost 328,000 around the world in over 152 countries.
To find out more about the opportunities available with PwC and to be the first to hear about jobs when they become available join the PwC Talent Network.
