Shadow Trip Leeds 4th March 2024
1 Mar 2024
A group of students is going to see the Phoenix Dance Company perform ‘Shadows’ by Christopher Bruce CBE at the Phoenix Dance Theatre in Leeds on Monday 4th March 2024.
This is an excellent opportunity to see one of the UK’s leading dance companies perform live. The small audience performance is just for GCSE Dance students and the workshops that follow are led by the cast. As this piece is a dance we study for the written paper, it will be an amazing chance for students to develop a deeper understanding of the politically inspired choreography. It is an opportunity not to be missed!

Easter Revision Classes – Tuesday 2nd April and Wednesday 3rd April
We will be running Easter revision classes on the above dates to provide guidance and support for students sitting exams in the summer term. Students who attended similar sessions last year found them extremely beneficial and felt that in many cases they were a contributing factor to examination success.
Students have the opportunity to choose which sessions they would like to attend based on their individual needs. All sessions will be based in department classrooms and will take place as per the timetable on the reverse side of this letter. Students should bring a packed lunch with them for the day. Please note that it isn’t compulsory to attend both days, or indeed all 3 sessions in a day, and students do not have to wear school uniform.
