Due to the school closure a couple of weeks ago the year 9 reviews have been rearranged to Weds 24th November. This will mean that the school will close at the end of period 4 to allow these appointments to take place
Year 9 Review Meetings – Wednesday 24th November
The review meetings are an opportunity for parents to come into the academy to meet with their child’s tutor to discuss progress and to talk about targets for the year ahead. Students are expected to attend these meetings.
When will the review meetings take place?
School will finish at 2.05pm on Wednesday 24th November so that staff can meet with parents. The meetings
usually last around 10-15 minutes.
How do I book a review meeting with my child’s tutor?
Your child’s tutor will contact you to arrange a convenient appointment time.

DNA UK TOUR 2021

In its 3rd year of touring, the hugely popular production of Dennis Kelly’s fantastic text DNA visited Park Vale Academy on Thursday 4th November. The performance was FANTASTIC and both teachers and students left inspired.

Behaviour & Attitudes Survey

Behaviour and attitudes towards physical activity survey
All students are being asked to complete a survey on their behaviour and attitudes towards physical activity as part of some research Sheffield Hallam University are conducting. The link for the survey will be sent to students via Class Charts announcements tomorrow , Thursday 11th November, and needs to be completed before Thursday 18th November 2021. The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete and is completed online. There is a document on Class Charts and the school website for parents/carers to access should you require more information on the survey. If you would like your child to not participate in the research study please inform them not to access the link when set on Class Charts tomorrow. Many thanks, Mrs Harford-Smyth.
