Contraception and Choices (Y9)
Aim – to increase young people’s knowledge about a wide range of contraceptive methods available, their efficacy and how they work. To explore and discuss choices around unplanned pregnancy and what options are available.
By the end of the session students will:
- be able to name 3 methods of contraception and how they work
- have increased understanding of the options available around unplanned pregnancy
- have an increased understanding of how all aspects of health can be affected by choices made in sex and relationships
- know what services are available and where to access them.
