National Junior Indoor Rowing Championship – Park Vale on the Road Again!

Following the success over the last year with rowing at Park Vale, we have once again entered the National Junior Indoor Rowing championship this year! The introduction of rowing was one met with plenty of enthusiasm from our students with numbers at our rowing club always looking healthy.Â
This year we will be looking to build on a few strong individual performances from last year, most notably Kaylon Huthwaite with his impressive 4th place finish his year 8 event. With more rowing experience under their belts and some familiarity with the competition itself, we could be well positioned for a few more strong performances.
As always though, there are always room for any others looking to get involved should they wish to do so at our rowing club every Tuesday after school in the sports hall.
