MOCK EXAMS RESULTS DAY 29th November 2022

As you will be aware the Year 11 mock exam period has just ended. The mock exams are a vital phase in a student’s preparation for their GCSE exams. Students will gain a lot in terms of experience and have clear goals moving forward to help them aim for success in the rest of the course.

To complete the mock exam process, we will be holding a Mock Results Day on Tuesday 29th November 2022.

This means that all students will receive all of their exam results in an envelope during a meeting with a member of staff. The meetings will be held throughout the course of the day on a 1:1 basis and students will receive an appointment card telling them where they need to go. They will then have the opportunity to discuss their results with a member of staff. This dialogue will be extremely useful in guiding students to reflect on what has gone well and how they might focus their revision for the next set of mock exams which begin on Monday 27th February 2023.

In addition, the member of staff will also be able to discuss with students what these mock results would mean in terms of possible future choices. The experience will clearly prompt important conversations about future life choices and possible career paths. However, perhaps more importantly than ever, it will also be an opportunity for a 1:1 meeting where students can discuss how they are feeling about where
they currently are and what they can do to ensure that they continue to make good progress in the months ahead.
