Duke of Edinburgh Award & British Weather!

On Saturday 10th May, 15 brave students and 3 members of staff walked their Duke of Edinburgh practice walk in typical British weather (sun sleet and rain). We navigated and walked a 10 mile route around the countryside of north Nottinghamshire, using OS maps and compasses. The groups did a fantastic job of encouraging each other despite the fact that everyone was drenched 5 minutes into the journey. The new cohort of DofE is starting soon and will be open to interested year 9s.
