Happy new year! We are writing to inform you about our close partnership with Mr McArdle – Careers Advisor at Park Vale Academy to support your child with their next steps, ready for leaving school. We have created a careers e-magazine that is accessible by phone, tablet and computer so you and your child can read it together at home.
We understand that you and your child might have some anxiety about the school year and our e-magazine is here to help guide you both along the way and hopefully answer any questions you might have about future career paths, local opportunities and more. We also have Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Careers Advice for Parents of Teens Facebook groups that you may find useful to join. These groups are to support you with any careers advice for your child with their options after leaving school or college. The group members consist of parents and qualified Level 6 Guidance Practitioners, who will be sharing top tips and advice throughout the school term as well as any local events you might be interested in.
